Radiologic Technologist – Radiology
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist for its busy radiology department. You'll perform approximately 80 procedures daily across CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging, working in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 10-hour days: 0530–1600
- Required call with 30-minute response time
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Holiday rotation with core staff
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- BLS Certification
- ARRT (R) – Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT (CT) – CT Technologist
- California CRT with Fluoroscopy permit
- 3–5 years radiology experience (training provided if necessary)
- Valid driver's license (copy required at submittal)
Clinical Environment
You'll support a variety of imaging modalities and work with an on-site radiologist available daily (0800–1700) and teleradiologist coverage during off-hours. RT and pharmacy support are available 24/7.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable CXR imaging
- Float to portable imaging throughout the facility as needed
- Maintain patient and staff safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with radiology team members
Orientation & Logistics
- 3-day on-site orientation
- Wear teal scrubs and radiation badge (provide your own)
- Patient transportation resources available
