Echo Technologist – New York City, NY

Position Overview

The facility is seeking experienced Registered Cardiac Sonographers to join the echocardiography department on a 13-week contract. Two positions are available with flexible scheduling options.

Shift & Schedule

• Position 1: Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Position 2: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• 5 × 8-hour days
• Start date: November 2, 2026

Requirements

*Certifications & Licenses (Required):*

• Registered Diagnostics Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) issued by ARDMS, OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) issued by CCI
• BLS certification required
• Associate's degree required

*Experience (Required):*

• Minimum 3 years as a Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer
• Demonstrated proficiency in adult cardiac ultrasound scans
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound technologist training program

*Preferred Qualifications:*

• Stress testing experience

Clinical Scope

You will perform comprehensive echocardiographic studies, including transthoracic and transesophageal imaging, for patients across the cardiac care continuum. You'll work with a clinical team managing diverse patient populations and cardiac conditions.
