Labor & Delivery RN — Night Shift | Lewisville, TX
Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week | Start Date: October 12, 2026
This Labor & Delivery unit is a busy, team-oriented environment committed to following AWHONN guidelines and delivering exceptional patient outcomes. The culture is warm and collaborative — the team is genuinely grateful for travelers who come ready to work and care.
Unit Scope & Patient Population
- Active labor management, vaginal deliveries, and cesarean sections
- Antepartum care and obstetric
- Iron infusions and post-operative recovery
- Fetal monitoring throughout
Staffing & Expectations
- Night shift includes 1 charge/CNC, 8–10 RNs, and 1–2 OB techs
- On-call requirement: 1–2 shifts per schedule
- Float: occasional float to Mother Baby as a resource only
Required Skills *(candidates without these will not be considered)*
- Labor management
- Circulating for cesarean sections
Preferred Skills
- Experience with vaginal deliveries, , and iron infusions
