Pediatric & Oncology RN — Asheville, NC

*Night Shift | 13-Week Contract*

This travel RN position is on a combined Pediatrics and Oncology unit, caring for pediatric patients across a range of acuity levels as well as pediatric oncology patients. The unit is consistently staffed with at least one oncology-trained nurse per shift.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 6 weekend shifts required per contract, including 2 Saturdays

Clinical Details

• Patient population: Pediatric and pediatric oncology
• Float areas: PICU and NICU
• Detail-oriented, organized candidates thrive in this environment

Required Certifications

• BLS
• PALS
• APHON (required for oncology assignment)

Required Experience

• Pediatric hospital experience is mandatory; candidates without it will not be considered
• Pediatric oncology experience is strongly preferred

Orientation

• 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour on-unit shift

Dress Code

• RNs: All navy, all white, or a combination of navy and white
