Telemetry Nursing Position

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Telemetry nurse to join the team in Asheville, NC. You'll provide direct patient care in a monitored setting, managing patients requiring continuous cardiac surveillance and hemodynamic assessment.

Clinical Environment

Work in a busy acute-care setting that serves as a regional referral center. The facility manages a diverse patient population including post-surgical cases, acute cardiac events, and complex medical conditions requiring close monitoring. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms
• Assess and respond to patient changes in real time
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with physicians and care teams
• Support safe patient transitions and discharge planning

Requirements

• Current RN license (NC)
• BLS certification required
• Experience in telemetry or acute-care nursing preferred
• Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced environment
