Labor & Delivery Nurse – 13-Week Assignment
The Opportunity
The facility's Women Services unit is seeking experienced Labor & Delivery nurses for a 13-week contract. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on a dynamic team dedicated to maternal and neonatal care.
About the Unit
This Women Services unit manages the full spectrum of labor and delivery care, including antepartum , active labor support, cesarean sections, and postpartum couplet care. You'll work within AWHONN patient ratio guidelines and collaborate with a skilled team including certified nurse clinicians, unlicensed care providers, and surgical technicians.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care
- Circulate in the OR for cesarean deliveries
- Support postpartum and neonatal care
- Float to other units as needed
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Active NRP, AWHONN, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Fetal Monitoring certification
- Proven experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Ability to circulate cesarean sections
Preferred
- Experience with postpartum
Schedule & Dress Code
- Rotating weekends and holiday coverage required
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Scrubs provided for surgical areas
