RN – Med-Surg Ortho/Neuro | Zanesville, OH
13-Week Travel Contract | Day Shift
This Med-Surg Ortho/Neuro position is a strong fit for experienced nurses who thrive in a dynamic inpatient setting. The primary unit focuses on orthopedic and neurological patients, with routine float coverage to other Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation.
Shift Details
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Available start dates: November 4 or November 16
Clinical Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of current, recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry — competency will be assessed on day one
- Demonstrated EMR proficiency required; refresher training or on-site assistance will not be provided
Certifications
- Active BLS required
What to Know Before You Apply
Candidates must meet all clinical requirements as stated. Telemetry competency and EMR proficiency are non-negotiable and will be verified at the start of the assignment. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours over the course of the 13-week contract. All requested time off must be disclosed prior to submission.
