Registered Nurse – ICU Float

Position Overview

Join the ICU as a float nurse on the night shift, providing critical care to high-acuity patients. You'll work across units within the facility and nearby affiliate hospitals, gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and clinical scenarios.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45–07:15)
• Schedule: Every other weekend
• On-Call: 2 shifts every 4 weeks
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week

Requirements

• Current South Carolina RN license (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2 supervisory references
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• First-time travelers welcome

What to Expect

• Float assignments within the hospital and to nearby affiliate locations
• Pre-start orientation modules (approximately 2 hours)
• Minimal time-off requests during the first two weeks; all RTO must be approved in advance
• Expect to work some holidays
• Overtime available after 48 hours for confirmed 4x12 schedules
