Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Position Overview
Join the cath lab team for a 12-week contract assignment. You'll work day shifts (06:45–15:30) in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
About the Role
The lab handles a full range of cardiac procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, stenting, peripheral angiograms, pacemaker and ICD placements, electrophysiology studies, thrombectomy, and laser atherectomy. You'll also assist with select interventional radiology cases.
What You'll Do
- Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases
- Monitor patients in recovery (up to 5 recovery bays)
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Float to IR as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Ability to accept on-call responsibilities (one week per month)
- Willing to float to interventional radiology
Schedule & Environment
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Day shift: 06:45–15:30
- One week of call per month
