Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Position Overview
Join the cardiac catheterization lab team for a 13-week contract. This role supports high-acuity cardiac interventions in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts)
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Location: Dallas, TX
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, coronary angiography, and intervention procedures
- Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment, ensuring all systems are calibrated and ready
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs
- Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure smooth case flow
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Current RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) certification or equivalent cath lab credentials
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and common interventional procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
