Cardiac Catheterization Lab Nurse
Position Overview
Join the cardiac catheterization lab team for a 13-week contract. You'll support a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced, procedural environment.
Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
- Call: 2 nights per week + 3 weekends per 8-week cycle (Friday–Sunday)
- Holidays: On-call or work as needed
- Location: Within 50-mile radius required
Qualifications
- Current Mississippi nursing license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Cardiac nursing experience
- Competency with moderate sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience circulating cardiac procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health records
- Scrub experience preferred but not required
What You'll Do
You'll prepare patients for and assist with coronary angiography, intervention, and other diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures. Responsibilities include hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, patient education, and procedural support in a collaborative team environment.
