Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Labor & Delivery. This is a dynamic, high-acuity unit managing complex obstetric cases. You'll work day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) with a Tuesday start date.
Unit Details
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of travel nursing experience in high-risk OB L&D
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Intermediate fetal monitoring skills
- ACLS and BLS certifications current
Preferred Skills
- OBED experience
- High-risk or high-volume OB background
Clinical Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive high-risk obstetric care
- Administer magnesium and insulin drips
- Circulate and scrub in operative procedures
- Respond to rapid changes in patient acuity
Schedule & Contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Time off requires facility approval; approved weeks require three shifts plus two major and one minor winter holiday coverage
