Night Shift Rehabilitation Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for night shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) in its skilled nursing rehabilitation unit. This is a sub-acute care environment focused on patient recovery and discharge planning across a range of diagnoses.
Schedule & Expectations
- 3x12-hour night shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- Start date: ASAP
- 13-week contract
- Guaranteed hours (facility may call off once per two-week pay period)
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Orientation: 40 hours
Clinical Details
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics; daily census 45–50
- Scope: Skilled nursing care covering all system diagnoses; admission criteria apply (no custodial or long-term care)
- Interdisciplinary Team: Respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, unit secretary, and interpretation services
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience required
- Current BCLS certification
- Valid compact state license (must be in hand at submission)
- Travel experience preferred

- May float to nearby sister facilities as operational needs dictate
- Two professional references required (covering past 1 year, within last 3 years)
