Labor & Delivery RN — Travel Contract | Encinitas, CA

Shift: Days, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: November 2, 2026

This Labor & Delivery travel RN role requires a skilled circulator comfortable supporting operative deliveries. You'll work in an active L&D unit providing care across the full spectrum of the perinatal experience, with a specific emphasis on OR circulation for cesarean sections.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license (California license in hand at time of submittal — Temp or Perm; no EMSA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP
• Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN Advanced (issued within the last 2 years)

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of concurrent L&D experience
• OR circulator experience for C-sections required (skills checklist must be completed)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must be located more than 100 miles from the facility
• One supervisory-level professional reference required

Scheduling & Logistics

• No call required
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved RTO; no new RTO requests after submission
• Interview availability required (same day preferred)

Compliance Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Valid copies of all required certifications must accompany submission
• Completion of non-billable online learning modules required per assigned schedule
