Endovascular Surgery RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its endovascular surgery program. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting minimally invasive vascular procedures and working alongside interventional radiologists and surgeons.
Shift & Schedule
- 10-hour days, 4 days per week
- 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (schedule varies)
- 40 guaranteed weekly hours
- 89-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in endovascular surgery, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, or thoracic surgery OR
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience with cardiac, vascular, or thoracic background
- AHA BLS certification (required)
- AHA ACLS certification (preferred)
- Current RN license
Clinical Scope
You'll assist with endovascular procedures including but not limited to stent placements, embolizations, angiograms, and other interventional vascular cases. Responsibilities include pre-operative and post-operative patient assessment, intraoperative support, equipment and supply management, and patient safety advocacy.
Holiday Expectations
You must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
