Operating Room Nurse – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work in a high-volume surgical environment supporting a variety of specialty cases including robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, and gynecology.
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (12-hour days)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
- ACLS Certification (preferred)
Holiday Expectations
You must commit to working:
- 2 of the following 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
- 1 of the following minor holidays: Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
What You'll Do
You'll provide perioperative care across diverse surgical specialties, working alongside an experienced surgical team. Responsibilities include patient assessment, instrument and equipment management, and maintaining surgical protocols in a fast-paced OR setting.
