Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist for a 13-week contract in the cath lab. You'll work 4x10-hour days (7am–5pm) with guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Clinical Scope

You'll support 40–50 cases daily across 11 labs, primarily diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures. Occasional electrophysiology cases are included; interventional radiology is a separate department. You'll prepare equipment, assist physicians, monitor patients, and ensure accurate documentation.

Staffing Model

• Call requirement: 4–5 times per month, including 1 weekend per month
• Minimum 3 days per month on call status
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts (for 13+ week assignments)

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license or cardiovascular technician licensure
• BLS Certification
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification via CCI
