Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN — Asheville, NC

Contract: 16 weeks | Shift: 18:45–07:15 (Night) | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week | Start Date: October 8, 2026

Clinical Scope & Procedures:

• IV starts and central line dressing changes
• Hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Trach care, tube feeding, and placement
• ICP monitoring
• Catheterizations and lumbar puncture assistance

Unit Support:

• HUC on unit from 9 AM–9 PM
• Shared tech support available

Scheduling:

• Must work 3 weekends per 6-week schedule block
• Float requirement to Pediatrics and NICU as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of PICU experience
• Active PALS certification
• Ability to float to Peds and NICU settings

Dress Code: All navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops
