Nights | 13-Week Contract

This active Emergency Department opportunity is ideal for experienced ED nurses who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments. The night shift runs 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Unit Overview

The ED manages the full spectrum of emergency care needs, from acute medical and trauma cases to stroke presentations. The unit is staffed by a collaborative team of RNs and EMT/Medics across all shifts, with a strong emphasis on communication and teamwork.

Typical Procedures & Patient Population

• Comprehensive emergency department care
• Cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation
• Blood glucose management
• Stroke and trauma patient care

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC required

*(PALS may be accepted in lieu of ENPC)*

• CPI Blue Card preferred

Preferred Experience

• Trauma experience
• Stroke program experience

Energetic, adaptable, and collaborative — someone who communicates effectively with both bedside staff and providers and is comfortable managing high acuity independently on night shift.
