Emergency Department — Travel RN | Atlanta, GA

PM Shift | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN opportunity is based in an active Emergency Department in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The position is a 13-week contract beginning in early November 2026.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3 PM – 3 AM (3 × 12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours/week)

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of ED experience within the past 3 years
• Active ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Valid Georgia RN license or compact license — must be in hand at time of submission

Position Notes

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not eligible for this assignment
• Georgia is not a compact state for RNs, so a Georgia state license is required if you hold a compact license from another state — confirm licensure eligibility prior to applying

Ideal Candidate

You are an experienced emergency RN comfortable managing a high-volume, fast-paced ED environment with diverse patient acuity. Strong neuro assessment skills are a plus given the NIHSS requirement, suggesting exposure to stroke protocols and neurological emergencies.
