Cardiac Med/Tele RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an RN for its Cardiac Med/Tele unit. You'll provide direct patient care on the night shift, managing patients with cardiac conditions and those requiring telemetry monitoring.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Staffing Options: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekends: One shift per week, or two shifts every other weekend
• Holidays: Must work at least one holiday during the contract
• Flexibility: Schedule may vary based on facility needs; block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Float: May be required to float to other units as needed

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Location: Rochester, NY (candidates must reside more than 50 miles away)

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years acute hospital experience with 1 recent year in med/surg or tele
• 2 years U.S. work history (required for non-U.S. candidates)
• Willingness to assume charge nurse responsibilities (training provided; prior charge experience preferred but not required)

Clinical Environment

Care for patients across cardiac and telemetry services, managing monitoring, medications, and direct nursing interventions in a structured night-shift environment.
