Clinical Scope
The primary unit is a high-acuity Telemetry floor managing complex patient populations including ia, end-stage renal disease, CHF, COPD, respiratory distress, and post-cath lab patients. Expect a primary care nursing model — support staff are available but resources can be limited, and nurses should be prepared to work independently.
The secondary site's ACU blends Telemetry, Med-Surg, and step-down level care. Common diagnoses include post-surgical, orthopedic, and cardiac presentations. Travelers will not be assigned to DOU patients.
Float Scope: Tele, Med-Surg, and ER holds across both facilities.
