Emergency Department – Registered Nurse
About the Role
Join the Emergency Department as a night shift Registered Nurse. This is a high-acuity ED providing comprehensive emergency care, including specialized geriatric emergency services. You'll work in a modern, collaborative environment with experienced clinicians and strong leadership committed to quality patient outcomes.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (3P–3A or 7P–7A rotation)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 16 weeks
- Weekends: One weekend shift per contracted week, or two shifts every other weekend
- Holidays: Must work at least one holiday during contract
- Blocked Scheduling: Available; request rotating or fixed blocks (Thurs/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon options)
- On-Call: Optional but recommended; 2 hours per week average, available in 4–16 hour blocks (7P–7A window)
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience
- 2 years of U.S. work history (required for international candidates)
- NIH and AHA BLS certification
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
