Emergency Department Nurse – 12-Hour Nights
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced ER nurse for a 13-week contract in its Emergency Department. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with 6–9 weekend days required per 6-week schedule. If needed, you may float within the designated zone during high-acuity periods.

Staffing & Support
The charge nurse carries an assignment. Nurse aids, EMTs, paramedics, and sitters support the team based on shift needs. Lab draws are shared between phlebotomy and nursing staff. Self-scheduling and block scheduling options are available.
Requirements
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong proficiency in NIHSS and TNCC protocols
- Valid state nursing license (copy required to apply)
- Available to attend in-person orientation week
Details
- Scrubs: Navy blue
- Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
- Cancellation policy: Up to 4 shifts per 13-week term may be cancelled
- 60-mile radius; valid driver's license required
