Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract
Lewisville, TX | Nights (19:00–07:00) | 13-Week Contract
This fast-paced Emergency Department is seeking an experienced travel RN for night shift coverage. The unit manages a broad range of emergent and urgent presentations across main ED, fast track, and overflow spaces, with active clinical support resources on every shift.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No on-call or float requirements
Clinical Scope
The ED team manages high-acuity and urgent cases across the full spectrum of emergency presentations. Common procedures include:
- Airway and resuscitation management
- Procedural sedation
- Chest tube placement
- Wound care and splinting
Dedicated Emergency Resource Nurses and Clinical Staff Support roles are scheduled on both day and night shifts to assist with critical patients and resuscitations.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- TNCC certification (required)
- Critical care experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ENPC certification
- Ultrasound experience
- Strong peripheral IV skills
