Medical-Surgical Telemetry – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry nurse for night shift coverage. You'll care for patients on continuous cardiac monitoring, managing a range of post-operative and acute medical conditions.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 13, 2026

Requirements

• 12 months permanent MS/Telemetry experience required
• Current, permanent Ohio license or active Compact State license (must be in hand at submission)
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty (Charge RN references accepted)

Assessments

You'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation. Acceptable performance on both is required to remain on assignment. You'll have a maximum of two attempts to pass.

• Background check required; no open cases accepted
• Clean license record required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions honored)
• BCI/FBI fingerprint clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Pre-start modules required (6–15 hours); orientation includes 4 billable hours
