Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced PACU nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Decatur, GA area.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Four 9-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Guaranteed hours
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia)
- Minimum 18 months of PACU or post-operative nursing experience
- BLS certification required
About the Role
You'll provide direct care to post-operative and post-anesthesia patients in a fast-paced recovery environment. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, managing pain and nausea, assessing surgical sites, and facilitating safe discharge or transfer to inpatient units. You'll work collaboratively with anesthesia, surgery, and nursing teams to ensure smooth patient transitions.
