Observation Unit Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a registered nurse for its observation unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment where patients are monitored for short-term stays prior to admission or discharge.

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Days: 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

What You'll Do

In the observation unit, you'll assess patients, administer medications, monitor vital signs, perform EKGs and other diagnostics as needed, and communicate with physicians regarding patient status and disposition. You'll manage patients with a variety of conditions, working collaboratively with your care team to ensure timely clinical decisions and smooth transitions.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia)
• BLS certification required
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
