PCU / Stepdown

IMCU Travel RN — Nights | Utica, NY

This intermediate care unit manages a high-acuity adult population (18+) across a broad range of diagnoses including neurological conditions, cardiac events, respiratory illness (COPD, sepsis, DKA, MI), trauma, and post-operative recovery. The unit also includes a dedicated neurology cohort.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 48 hours guaranteed weekly
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
• Floating required

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 23, 2026

Clinical Scope

• Patients requiring temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, and arterial lines
• BiPAP management
• Chronic ventilator patients unable to wean (respiratory therapy support available)
• CV stepdown and post-operative care

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active New York RN license (verified via NURSYS)
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Submission Requirements

• Resume reflecting 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience with documented travel history
• Specialty-specific skills checklist
• Valid driver's license with address matching submitted demographics
• All RN license information included at time of submission
• RTO requests must be submitted with application
