RN – Case Manager | Wichita, KS | Travel Contract

This Case Management RN position supports two step-down units at a busy acute care facility in Wichita, Kansas. The role focuses on a cardiac step-down population — including post-CABG and post-TAVR patients — as well as a general medical step-down unit with a diverse patient mix. Many patients transition home with cardiac rehab, while others require post-acute placement coordination.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekend requirements
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Contract duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive case management assessments
• Discharge planning and care transitions
• Collaboration with a consistent team of physicians and mid-level providers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Case Manager RN experience
• Active Kansas RN licensure
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior acute care case management background in a comparable hospital setting
