Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, GA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced IR suite supporting a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Schedule & Contract Details

• 4 × 10-hour day shifts per week (40 hours total)
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Clinical Scope

You'll assist interventional radiologists with procedures including embolizations, drain placements, biopsies, and other image-guided interventions. The role involves patient positioning, equipment setup, monitoring, and adherence to strict sterile protocols in a high-volume setting.

Requirements

• Current certification as an RT(R) or equivalent IR credential
• Strong knowledge of fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and cross-sectional imaging
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely
• Comfort with fast-paced, procedural environments
