Rehabilitation Nurse — Wichita, KS
This is a night-shift travel nursing opportunity in a rehabilitation unit located in Wichita, KS, with a contract duration of 13 weeks and an anticipated start date in mid-October 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call obligations
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Unit Overview
You'll be working in a rehabilitation nursing setting, caring for patients focused on recovery and functional restoration. Float coverage may be required to similar units on the same campus or at another campus within Wichita.

Onboarding Requirements
- MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza vaccine
- TB testing: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-spot)
- Respirator fit test
- Core competency and skills assessments
- Criminal background check and employment verification
- 11-panel drug screen
- Color vision screening
Ideal Candidate
Experienced rehab nurses comfortable with night-shift routines, interdisciplinary care coordination, and the flexibility to float to comparable units as needed will be well-suited for this role.
