Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED) — Travel RN

Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12-Hour | 20-Week Contract | Stockbridge, GA

This OBED position places you at the intersection of Labor & Delivery and emergency obstetric care, serving a diverse patient population ranging from neonates through adults. You'll , circulate, and manage acute obstetric cases with a high level of clinical autonomy.

Clinical Scope

• Autonomous vaginal exams required
• and circulating responsibilities
• Interdisciplinary support includes Interpretation Services, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams
• Float within service line to L&D, APU, and OR

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP — all required
• Georgia RN or compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required (non-teaching facility experience acceptable for first-time travelers)

Scheduling Details

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• One 12-hour on-call shift per schedule
• Holiday expectations apply: travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall during their assignment period
• Max 7 days RTO per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission — no requests accepted post-offer or during orientation week

Additional Information

• Scrubs provided by the facility
• 36-hour orientation
• All compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start date; core onboarding items must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
