CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST) — Travel Contract

Greenville, SC | 13-Week Contract | Day Shift

This CVOR-focused surgical tech role supports an active cardiovascular surgical program performing an average of three cardiac cases per day. The position involves scrubbing complex open-heart and endovascular procedures alongside experienced OR teams.

Shift & Schedule

• 4x10-hour days, 06:00–16:30
• On-call required: minimum 2 call days per week and 1–2 weekends per 6-week rotation (Friday and Sunday during scheduled weeks)
• Float to the main OR when CVOR volume is low

Clinical Scope

• First Assist responsibilities
• CABG, mitral valve replacement, ASD repair, cardiomyoplasty
• Aortic aneurysm repair, atherectomy, EVAR, TAVR
• ECMO, VAD management, pericardial window
• Radiation safety and universal protocol compliance

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR scrub experience
• CST credential through NBSTSA (pending certifications not accepted)
• BLS required
• Prior trauma surgical experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

• Locals within the radius restriction are not eligible; candidates must meet the minimum distance requirement from the facility
