ICU Registered Nurse | Elizabethtown, KY | Nights | 13-Week Contract

Join a critical care team providing high-acuity, comprehensive nursing care to intensive care patients. This 13-week night shift position offers an opportunity to practice at the top of your scope in a collaborative, evidence-based environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 3×12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Clinical Scope

The ICU manages critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced life support. Core responsibilities include:

• Managing ventilated patients and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Administering and titrating vasoactive and sedation drips
• Caring for patients with arterial lines and central venous access
• Performing and responding to rapid response and code interventions
• Conducting thorough nursing assessments and collaborating with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams on individualized care plans
• Providing patient and family education throughout the care continuum

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky (or applicable compact license)
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• BLS required; ACLS required
• CCRN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care experience preferred; new graduates considered per clinical background
• Proficiency with critical care equipment and titratable drip management
