ICU Registered Nurse | Elizabethtown, KY | Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

We're seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Elizabethtown, KY. This is a night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3×12s) with weekend and holiday rotation included.

About the Unit

You'll be caring for critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced life support. The unit manages high-acuity patients receiving mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, arterial and central line management, and titratable vasoactive and sedation drips. Rapid response and code participation are expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer and titrate vasoactive medications and sedation per physician orders
• Manage ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky (or applicable compact license)
• BLS required; ACLS required
• ADN accepted; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care experience required
• CCRN preferred
• Proficiency with critical care equipment and titratable drips

Schedule

• 3×12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Start date: November 9, 2026
