Position Overview
The facility's Cath Lab is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week contract. You'll work in a busy procedural environment handling 10-15 cases per day across multiple suites, supporting interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular procedures.
Schedule & Staffing
- Shift: 4 x 10-hour days
- Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
- On-call: 24/7 coverage required with a 30-minute response time
- Call expectations: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call included
- Occasional floating to other procedural areas based on census needs
Requirements
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications
- Demonstrated competence and prior Cath Lab experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Details
- Duties: Scrub and monitor during procedures
- Orientation: 3 shifts of unit-specific training
- Dress code: Scrubs provided
- Cancellation policy: The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts within a 13-week assignment
