Orthopedics Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its orthopedic unit on the night shift. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment managing post-operative orthopedic patients and those undergoing orthopedic procedures.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other week
• Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
• No block scheduling; schedule flexibility required based on facility needs

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, neuro, or orthopedics
• Non-U.S. trained candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work experience
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

What to Expect

• Float to other units as needed to support facility operations
• Charge nurse responsibilities requested but not required; training provided if needed
• 16-week contract
• Supportive orientation available
