Travel RN – Progressive Care / Multi-Trauma Unit | Englewood, CO

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

This night-shift opening is on a high-acuity Multi-Trauma Unit caring for complex trauma patients with a wide range of critical injuries and post-procedural needs. The unit manages a challenging patient population including those requiring ventilator support, chest tube management, tracheostomy care and suctioning, wound vacs, and specialty bed therapy. Common procedures include chest tube placement and bedside bronchoscopy.

The team culture is collaborative and fast-paced, supported by engaged charge nurses who remain free of assignment to focus on the team, as well as strong tech coverage on both shifts and highly involved physicians.

Shift Structure:

• Night shift: 1 charge nurse (patient-free), 5 RNs, 2 techs

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU or comparable inpatient experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Clinical Skills:

• Chest tube insertion assistance and management
• Trach care and suctioning
• Trauma patient management
• Vent and IV pump management
