Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work the 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM shift in a fast-paced, collaborative environment serving a diverse patient population.

Unit Details

Clinical Scope

Common procedures and responsibilities include:

• IV access and blood draws
• Moderate sedation monitoring
• Cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation
• Airway management and ventilator support
• Hemodynamic monitoring with rapid infusion capabilities

Requirements

• Current RN license (Texas)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• ENPC preferred
• Team-oriented, compassionate approach to patient care

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend rotation
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No floating outside the ED

Dress Code

Royal blue scrubs

Contract Terms

• 13 weeks
• Start date: September 28, 2026
