13-Week Contract | 4 x 12-Hour Shifts | Days/Mid-Shift

This fast-paced Emergency Department in Overland Park, KS is seeking an experienced Emergency/Trauma RN for a 13-week contract beginning November 2026. The unit manages a high-acuity patient population requiring trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis care, along with comprehensive .

Shift & Scheduling

• Shift window: mid-shift schedule ranging from 10:00–22:30 to 13:00–01:30
• Every third weekend required
• 48 guaranteed hours available
• Floating is rare and only occurs after core staff have been flexed home

Clinical Scope

• High-acuity emergency and trauma care including STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and
• Full scope of emergency procedures consistent with a trauma-designated facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency/Trauma RN experience in a trauma-level facility
• Active Kansas RN license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC (or PALS), TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale
• Preferred: CEN, TCRN, CPI

Dress Code

• Cobalt blue solid-color top; black or cobalt blue solid-color pants; closed-toe shoes
