Medical-Surgical Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Nurse for a night shift role on a general med-surg unit. This is a 13-week contract assignment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Start Date: November 16, 2026

Unit Details

You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment, managing a diverse patient population across multiple acuity levels. Responsibilities include assessment, medication administration, wound care, patient education, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Tennessee)
• BLS certification
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently on the night shift
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic unit
