Emergency Department – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Perform patient assessments and
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in follow-up care coordination
Requirements
- Current RN license (North Carolina)
- Emergency nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, dynamic environment

Night shifts in an emergency department demand flexibility, quick decision-making, and strong communication. You'll care for diverse patient populations across all acuity levels. The role requires physical stamina and comfort working independently as part of a cohesive team.
