RN – Invasive Cardiology
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab to care for critically ill patients undergoing Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular procedures. You'll work in a fast-paced environment providing direct patient care, hemodynamic monitoring, and procedural support.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 4 x 10-hour shifts
- Hours: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 8:00 AM–6:30 PM (assigned by unit rotation)
- On-Call: STEMI call with 30-minute response time; holidays and additional call assigned per unit rotation
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and provide care for critically ill cardiac patients
- Assist with hemodynamic monitoring (IABP, IMPELLA) and ventilator management
- Perform preoperative and postoperative care, including patient sedation monitoring
- Respond to STEMI activations as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in Ohio
- Proven Cath Lab experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring devices
- Ventilator management experience
- Preoperative/postoperative care skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods; sit, bend, stoop, and walk as needed
- Lift/carry up to 250–300 lbs. with assistance; push/pull up to 500 lbs. with assistance
- Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning products
