Role Overview
The facility's Heart Center is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist for a 12-week contract assignment. You'll perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and stress echos in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 4 x 10-hour days, 07:00–17:30
- Duration: 12 weeks
- On-call: Rotation every 5–7 days (13.5 hours, 17:30–07:00)
- Weekend call: Every 5th–7th weekend
- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
Clinical Scope
You'll perform approximately 8–9 studies per 10-hour shift, focusing on adult populations. The unit performs TTE, TEE, and stress echo procedures. This is an adult echo role; pediatric experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Certifications: RDCS, RCS, or equivalent; current BLS
- Experience: Must have TTE/TEE experience; advanced TEE skills preferred
- License: Current registration required
Team & Environment
The team includes five tenured staff members with 7–25 years of experience, plus two new grads in orientation. The Non-Invasive Manager is an experienced Echo Tech. You'll have strong unit secretarial and tech support.
Dress Code
Navy blue scrubs required.
