Respiratory Therapist – NICU | Denver, CO
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a seasonal assignment in the NICU. This is a 13-week contract with a 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift, guaranteeing 36 hours per week.
Clinical Scope
You'll provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal patients, including airway management, ventilator management, and emergency department support. The NICU manages complex respiratory cases requiring advanced ventilation strategies and close collaboration with nursing and physician teams.
Required Qualifications
- Current NICU RRT experience (minimum 6 months)
- Level III NICU experience
- Pediatric experience required
- NBRC certification
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
Preferred Experience
- Critical care background
- PICU experience
Unit Details
Work alongside an experienced, supportive respiratory care team. The unit utilizes advanced respiratory equipment to meet patient needs. Strong communication and patient-centered care are essential to success in this environment.
