Labor & Delivery RN — Night Shift | Peterborough, NH
This 13-week travel contract places you on a Labor & Delivery unit providing individualized, patient-centered care throughout the full spectrum of the birthing experience — from natural childbirth to epidural anesthesia and all options in between.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call required
Unit & Clinical Scope
The unit supports patients through active labor and into the immediate postpartum period. You'll provide high-touch, personalized nursing care in a smaller, close-knit setting where attentive bedside practice is the standard of care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery / OB RN experience (required)
- Fetal monitoring experience (required)
- Prior travel nursing experience (highly preferred)
- STABLE certification (highly preferred)
- Active New Hampshire RN license (required)
Required Certifications — must be current and in hand at submission
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- AWHONN
- NRP
Submission Requirements
- Labor & Delivery skills checklist completed within the past year
- One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
- License verification documentation
- Requested time off must be included at submission (please limit to 5 days)
