Medical-Surgical Nurse – 13-Week Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Nurse to join the med-surg team on day shifts. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Guaranteed hours throughout contract
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Georgia or Compact nursing license (current and in hand)
- Current AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS certification required
- Start date: November 16, 2026
What We're Looking For
A dependable, detail-oriented nurse comfortable with med-surg acuity, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Experience with post-operative care, chronic disease management, and acute medical conditions is essential.
