Emergency Department RN — San Jose, CA

Contract: 84 weeks | Shift: 11:00 PM–11:00 AM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | 36 hours/week guaranteed

This Emergency Department position offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity ED environment, including caring for stroke and STEMI patients. The unit sees a broad range of emergent and critical presentations, requiring a clinician who is confident, adaptable, and collaborative.

Shift & Schedule

• Available shifts: 11:00 AM–11:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Clinical Scope

• Acute and emergent patient care across a wide acuity range
• Stroke and STEMI center procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care setting
• Active RN license (California license required or in process)
• PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience
• Prior travel or interim experience working in California
