Registered Nurse – ICU (Night Shift)
Location: Warner Robins, GA
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
About the Role
The facility's ICU is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the night shift team. You'll provide direct care to critically ill patients, managing complex medical conditions and post-surgical recovery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ventilator-dependent patients
- Perform IV insertions and PICC line placements
- Monitor and respond to acute patient changes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Document patient care using the facility's charting system
- Float to other departments within the facility as needed to support patient census
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required; previous travel nursing experience preferred
- License: GA or compact license in hand
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS required
- Clinical Skills: Ventilator management, IV insertion, PICC line placement
- Relocation: Must relocate; no local candidates within 50 miles
Key Details
Float assignments to other departments will occur as patient volume requires. Departmental rotations are monitored and scheduled in advance.
